Two Dearborn-area basketball players win all-state honors – Press & Guide

Michigan’s Associated Press recently released its all-state selections for the 2021-22 women’s basketball season.

From the Dearborn area, two players earned all-state honors in Division 1.

Divine Child junior guard Kennedy Blair was named to the All-State First Team and Fordson senior guard Batoul Reda earned an All-State Honorable Mention.

Blair helped guide the Falcons to a 19-5 record and a trip to the regional championship game. Divine Child have been ranked among the top teams in D1 for most of the season.

Reda helped lead the Tractors to a winning season and a berth in the District Championship game. She set several school records at Fordson.
